I was not very impressed with salon at all. I went there the first time shortly before my deployment. They did a less than okay job. I thought maybe they had just given me a new stylist. I went back last summer when I returned from Iraq to give them another try. I asked for their best stylist and said that money wasn't an issue. I brought a picture of the cut and color that was similar to what I wanted. In the 2 minutes that the stylist spent with me discussing what I wanted she said it would be an easy. I felt like she wasn't really listening to what I wanted and she was just looking to copy the picture. The whole time I felt very rushed. The cut ended up looking "okay" but I wasn't very happy. I wanted to discuss ways we could adjust it but again, she again, she wasn't really listening. The receptionist had said her next client was waiting. Driving home my head started to itch from the oils. And at the end of the evening when I pulled my hair up, my head looked like a skunk. I had streaks of color in one place and other spots missing color all together. It was horrible! My new stylist at Wilborn did an amazing fix. I will never go anywhere else again.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Planet Hair! I started going there about 7 years ago. Kelly Zerger did my hair, and that is probably why I love Planet Hair. I don't know if this review is more about the salon, or the stylist! Kelly actually left Planet Hair for a few months and went to Salon Knotty (in Genesis health club.) I followed Kelly, because I am not one of those people who has to stay at a salon no matter what. Kelly is great, and if you go to Planet Hair I would highly recommend her! I completely trust her with my hair, and I typically go in there and let her give me suggestions with my hair. I always get compliments on my hair. I love it there! They give you free drinks while you wait, they do not use the big hair dryers to dry your color, there is free internet access, and they use all aveda and bumble&bumble products! It's absolutely great and a great salon experience! **Planet Hair has many great stylists. I have had great luck with Kelly Zerger, but there are many other great stylists as well. I don't think anyone would leave unhappy!

When I stepped into Planet Hair for the first time I was taken back, because it really felt like no other place I had ever been in Wichita, ULTRA hip and funky, I honestly felt like I was in a salon in New York City. I got an awesome haircut (I took in a photo and the lady gave me exactly what I wanted. I recommend Kelly Zerger. http://www.planethairusa.com/
