Various eras in the history of aviation are showcased at the Kansas Aviation Museum, incorporating some 40 restored planes along with antique airplane engines and pilot accessories. Also contained within the museum is the Kansas Aviation Hall of Fame, where the achievements of famous pilots like Amelia Earhart and Major General Joe Engle are celebrated. Housed within a former municipal terminal building, the museum is set within the McConnell Air Force Base on the southeastern side of the city, past Plainview Park.

Adults $6; Seniors (62+) $4; Children (6-12) $2; Children 5 and under are free.
