Celebrating the cultural history of its namesake, the Kansas African American Museum displays art created by African Americans or their African progenitors. The museum also displays work by regional contemporary artists, with many works available for purchase. Located downtown, the museum is near the lovely Riverside Parks of Wichita as well as attractions like the Wichita Art Museum and Botanica, The Wichita Gardens.
